Our History
Our story began in 1979 as Envirotronics, Inc., focused on servicing environmental test chambers. Over time, we expanded into the design and manufacturing of testing systems.
Envirotronics was acquired by Weiss Technik in 2008 through the parent company, the Schunk Group.
In 2019, Cincinnati Sub-Zero (CSZ) became part of the organization, followed by Dynavac in 2023. These acquisitions expanded our product offering and strengthened our capabilities in environmental testing, space simulation, and thermal vacuum systems.
Today, Weiss Technik North America combines these capabilities to support a wide range of industries and applications.
Global Strength
Weiss Technik North America is part of the Weiss Technik group, which focuses on environmental simulation and air solutions.
Our organization is also a member of the Schunk Group, a global technology company founded in 1913. The Schunk Group includes more than 10,000 employees across over 60 operating companies in 26 countries.
