A leading global automaker faced a complex testing challenge: validating vehicle durability and performance under prolonged solar heat and light exposure while accommodating the size and weight of full-sized commercial vehicles. The application required a controlled environment capable of reproducing real-world solar irradiance, temperature, and humidity conditions in a repeatable indoor setting, but existing solutions could not deliver the necessary combination of environmental control and solar simulation. Weiss Technik designed a custom solar simulation chamber engineered to meet these demands, enabling accurate and repeatable testing of vehicle components, materials, and overall thermal performance within a single integrated system.
